Starbucks Japan celebrates the New Year with ultra-premium matcha and koji rice mold drinks. Travelers can experience unique Japanese flavors like gyokuro matcha and honey ginger rice koji in limited-edition lattes and Frappuccinos.
Starbucks Japan is releasing special New Year's beverages featuring unique Japanese ingredients. The Gyokuro Matcha Frappuccino and Latte showcase premium gyokuro matcha, offering a deeper flavor and vibrant green color. For a different taste, the Honey Ginger Rice Koji Latte uses rice koji, a fermented rice mold, creating a comforting and subtly sweet drink perfect for winter.
These limited-time drinks will be available starting December 26th. The Gyokuro Matcha Frappuccino (Tall size only) is priced at 700 yen, while the Gyokuro Matcha Latte and Honey Ginger Rice Koji Milk Latte are 650 yen (Tall) or 610 yen (Short).
