Studio Ghibli's 'Spirited Away' meets traditional Japanese card games with new hanafuda designs. Characters like Haku and soot sprites subtly enhance the classic floral artwork.
Studio Ghibli fans can now enjoy a unique blend of animation and tradition with 'Spirited Away' themed hanafuda cards. These cards incorporate characters and creatures from the beloved anime into the classic Japanese flower card game.
The hanafuda deck features 48 cards, each representing a month with seasonal flora, subtly enhanced with Ghibli elements. Look for Haku as a dragon, soot sprites among cherry blossoms, and other characters seamlessly integrated into the traditional designs.
Available at Ghibli specialty shop Donguri Kyowakoku, these cards offer a beautiful way to experience Japanese aesthetics. Hanafuda cards are thicker than Western playing cards, making them ideal for decorative display.
