Get ready for a Sanrio resort experience in Oita! Harmonyland is undergoing a major renovation to become a destination where visitors can enjoy Sanrio's charm alongside Oita's natural beauty and hot springs.
The expansion includes a new hotel with views of the park and Beppu Bay, a ropeway for navigating the hillside location, and an outdoor canopy for all-weather enjoyment. An amphitheater for shows is also planned.
While no completion date is set, the goal is to create "the kindest place in the world," accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Oita is already home to the Hello Kitty Airport, so expect maximum Sanrio immersion!
