Japan's otoshidama tradition gets a modern upgrade with 'Musubi' envelopes. These envelopes support disability employment, use recycled materials, and donate to children in need.

The 'Musubi' envelope offers travelers a unique way to participate in Japanese culture while supporting social causes. Each envelope purchased contributes to stable employment for people with disabilities, as the design, illustration, and packaging are handled by employment support facilities.

Made from recycled origami crane paper from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Musubi envelopes also directly support children in need. A portion of each 150 yen purchase is donated to the Nippon Foundation Children’s Support Fund, aiding children facing poverty or illness.

Consider using Musubi for small gifts or notes during your trip to Japan. It's a meaningful way to enhance your cultural exchange and contribute to local welfare initiatives.
