Kintetsu Railway is adding hot spring footbaths to its Tsudoi sightseeing train this winter. Enjoy a taste of Japanese bathing culture en route to Yunoyama Onsen.
Kintetsu Railway will offer a unique experience on its Tsudoi sightseeing train, connecting Kintetsu Nagoya Station to Yunoyama Onsen Station. On select dates, passengers can enjoy ashiyu (foot baths) filled with hot spring water sourced directly from Komono, enhancing the journey to the onsen town.
The Tsudoi train features hinoki cypress footbaths accommodating four users at a time for 10-minute sessions. A drink and snack stand offers local sake, tea, and senbei (rice crackers) from the Komono area.
The special Tsudoi service runs on select dates in late January and February. Tickets are just 510 yen (plus 100 yen for the footbath), and include discounts to local attractions in Komono.
