Visit Hiroshima's newly renovated station to discover a unique Pokémon park featuring Gyarados and Magikarp. Perfect for families and Pokémon fans, the park offers interactive exhibits and photo opportunities.

Hiroshima Station's new Minamoa building features a Gyarados plaza on its rooftop terrace. Travelers can enjoy a life-size Gyarados head with a slide and Magikarp rocking horse, perfect for kids and Pokémon enthusiasts.

Located near the Pokémon Center Hiroshima, the plaza also features other Water-type Pokémon like Mantyke and Psyduck. Note that the open-air plaza may close during bad weather, so check the forecast before visiting.

Beyond the Pokémon fun, Hiroshima's connection to carp (koi) adds cultural significance. Carp were historically kept in Hiroshima Castle's moat, and the city's baseball team is also named the Carp, making this Pokémon tie-in a unique local experience.
