Drinkable Yoglet: Japan's New Vending Machine Find
An iconic Japanese candy, Yoglet, is now available as a drink, exclusively in Suntory vending machines. This new beverage offers a nostalgic sweet-tart yogurt flavor.
Japan's vending machines offer a new surprise: Drinkable Yoglet, inspired by the classic 1979 candy. Found by a SoraNews24 reporter in Saitama, this drink is priced at 140 yen (US$0.88) and available only in Suntory vending machines.
While the drink doesn't contain the exact ingredients as the original Yoglet candies, it aims to replicate the familiar sweet-tart yogurt flavor. Instead of yogurt powder and concentrated yogurt paste, it uses calcium lactate and acidulants to achieve a similar taste.
Travelers in Japan can now experience a unique taste of nostalgia by seeking out Drinkable Yoglet in Suntory vending machines. It offers a convenient and affordable way to sample a beloved Japanese candy in a refreshing new format.
