7-Eleven Japan Upsizes Egg Sando, Ramen!
7-Eleven Japan is celebrating its anniversary with extra-large versions of popular items like egg sandwiches and pork ramen. Travelers can enjoy these limited-time, value-packed offerings at convenience stores across Japan.
7-Eleven Japan's "Founding Anniversary Sale" features a "Thank You Extra Large" series, boosting the size of favorites by over 50%. The lineup includes a mega pork ramen (over 1kg!), egg salad sandwiches with an extra cut, and a larger corn & mayonnaise bread. Some items, like the flame-grilled pork fried rice and dorayaki, may be harder to find due to popularity.
The mega pork ramen, supervised by Chuka Soba Tomita, is a standout. Weighing over 1kg, it's packed with noodles, vegetables, and a rich garlic-pork fat broth. Locals recommend the "tenchi gaeshi" technique (heaven-and-earth flip) to mix the ingredients evenly and prevent soggy noodles.
This campaign runs in phases, offering a chance to indulge in oversized convenience store classics. The first phase is from May 12-25, with a second phase from May 19-June 1. It's a great opportunity for visitors to experience Japanese convenience store culture with a fun, value-added twist.
